Spring is one of those unpredictable seasons. Here on the East Coast, on Saturday it was a breezy, comfortable 68 degrees and Sunday, we woke up to a rain/flurry mix with temperatures in the 30s! Seriously?! One way to deal with fluctuating temperatures is with a utility jacket, like this one from Isaac Mizrahi. It’s cotton with a touch of spandex, making it breathable, yet easy to move in. It is such a fabulous basic and nice departure from your everyday denim jacket. Utility jackets typically have a roomy silhouette, perfect for layering over sweaters, blouses, and tees. But, can also look darling over dresses or skirts. Today, I paired it with a simple white tank, black skinnies and fun leopard flats. Tie the belt in the front if you want to highlight your waistline or tie it in the back, leaving the front open for a casually chic look. It has great length and coverage and would also look adorable with leggings. This jacket comes in two washes- light and medium indigo. I’m wearing the medium indigo.
