White sneaker trend

Hi everyone!  Hope you are having a great week. If you follow trends, you may recall we saw white boots last fall on the runways and most likely, at your favorite retailer.  That trend is continuing into Spring 2019 in the form of white sneakers. Yes, they will require a bit of upkeep (preservation is key!), but I do love how effortlessly they make virtually any outfit. From high tops to low, lace-up to slip-ons, there is a white sneaker for everyone. If a solid white sneaker isn’t for you, never fear. Grab a pair that has a flash of metallic or pop of color to add a bit of interest without an overwhelming stark-white look.  Fun details on your white kicks such as texture (think espadrille detailing – LOVE!) to sweet accents, like a simple floral print, can also help express your personal style. I found these adorable and need-I-say comfortable white Propet Travel Slip-on Sneakers from DSW.com.  They have a subtle lace-like detail and are extremely light weight. I typically wear an 8.5 and found I needed to size down a half-size to an 8. They also come in a wide range of other fashionable colors, in case white just isn’t your thing, as well as in various widths (from narrow to extra extra wide). Gotta love that!

With a trip to upstate New York planned (cheering on my twin nephews in a volleyball tournament) this weekend, I will be spending plenty of time in a gymnasium. These slip-on sneakers are certain to be my best friend!  Link to the Propet Travel Slip-on sneaker below.

My pink with stripe detail hoodie is from Talbots (a few seasons back) and my black joggers are from Walmart (purchased in fall 2018).
