Hi guys! Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend? I meant to share this with you guys earlier in the week – I made chocolate chip zucchini bread. YUM! Trust me, you don’t even taste the zucchini. It’s a bit on the healthier side (made with apple sauce instead of oil), but it’s super easy to make and is soooo good. I linked the recipe here in case you’re interested! 🙂
Kicking off the favorites of the week with this pretty bralette from Abercrombie & Fitch. It is the perfect layering piece and can easily be incorporated into your wardrobe. There are so many things to love about this bralette – adjustable straps, the femininity with its all-over floral lace, light padding and overall comfort. This particular bralette comes in a few color options in addition to the black, including red (looks more like a rose color), light pink, and white. Fits TTS. As with all bralettes, it’s meant to be seen but how you wear it will be dependent on your style.
For me, my style is more classic, so I typically tend to wear a bralette under low neckline tops and dresses. It’s just a chic, tasteful way to showcase a bralette. Much like the V-neck tops, one of the easiest ways to wear a bralette is underneath a button up blouse. It’s enough to keep things interesting and add texture to your outfit, but not so much that you feel completely exposed.
It also looks cute under your comfy basics like a loose top or tank. Sometimes wearing a relaxed fitting top can be a problem (think low neckline or wide underarm openings). Wearing a bralette can instantly resolve those issues.
My other favorite of the week is this super comfy, cozy sweatshirt (aka a pullover) from Target. It is perfect to slip-on on a cool summer night. It’s a great go-to during our Northeast transitional weather. Not too warm, and yet just warm and lightweight enough. Great fabric and so easy to throw on with jeans come fall/winter. It comes in the asphalt gray (which is what I’m wearing) and a heather gray. Fits TTS.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead! Oh and if you decide to make that zucchini bread recipe, let me know what you think of it. 😀 Thanks for stopping by! xo ~ Michelle
