Hey friends! Hope you all are doing exceptionally well on this Wednesday! 🙂 Let’s talk versatility. The essential building block to a good wardrobe. Creating multiple looks by pairing one key, versatile piece with different clothing items already in your closet, maximizes your wardrobe. In today’s post, I’m styling this pretty short sleeve tassel blouse from Target with everyday pieces you already have in your closet. I gotta say, Target has upped their style game! I’ve been really impressed with their clothing and accessories selection. Kudos to them!
I LOVE this Knox Rose Tassel blouse – the print, the color combination, the touch of femininity (with a smidgen of boho) and yes – it’s versatility. For size reference, I’m wearing my normal XS. Let’s look at the many ways to style this darling top to create very different looks.
At the Office:
I mean WOW – if you work in an office environment, then how professional and polished will you look layering this top under a blazer with pencil skirt.
Happy Hour with Colleagues:
Got plans after work? No problem – remove the blazer and if you want, switch out your pumps for a sandal. But either way, you’re ready for cocktails and socializing.
You nearly survived a week at work and now it’s casual Friday. You will look so cute and comfy in this stylish ensemble! This floaty blouse looks amazing under a structured denim jacket. I like how the tassels peek through. No need for a necklace.
Whether it’s a night out with friends or a significant other, this feminine little top is the perfect option.
Picnics, BBQ, or Neighborhood Block Party:
Have a casual occasion to attend this summer? No problem, pair this easy-to-wear blouse with your favorite cuffed shorts and slip-on sneakers.
Attending Religious Services:
Outfit Details:Printed Short Sleeve V-Neck Blouse – Knox Rose™ (wearing XS) / Sloan Dress Pants (wearing size ). My Sloan style pants are from a few years back, but Banana Republic continues to offer them, but now in an easy-care, machine-washable fabric.
Look your Sunday best when you pair this blouse with slim dress pants and ballet flats. Got a brunch date after church service? No need to change – you’re ready to go!
Meet up for Coffee:
Have fun with your versatile piece and pull out any accent colors. This blouse has pops of pink, light blue and mustard, so I’ve paired it with some Old Navy shorts in a mustard-sunflower hue. It may seem a bit unexpected, but it works beautifully!
Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next time! Thanks for stopping by! XO ~ Michelle
