Friday Favorites!

Hi guys and happy FRIDAY! What do you all have going on this weekend? Any last minute vacations on the radar? Dan and I are finalizing our San Francisco/Napa Valley trip. Sooooo excited!! 😀 If you live/lived in either area or have traveled to either destination, I’d love to hear from you and share some of your restaurant recommendations!

Kicking off favorites of the week with this lightweight Calson boucle sweater from Nordstrom.

Outfit Details: Calson Boat Neck Boucle Sweater (wearing XS) // Comparable Gingham Shorts // Second Outfit Details: Calson Boat Neck Boucle Sweater (wearing XS) // Comparable Denim Jacket // Mid-rise Knee Slit Jeggings (wearing size 2) // Comparable Peep Toe Bootie // Faux Leather Dome Satchel

I absolutely LOVE this sweater. It is lightweight, soft and has a nice relaxed fit (but not boxy or over-sized). It has a slightly wider neckline (more towards a boat neck) and comes in a few color options, including the white, green, pink and navy. I can’t speak to the other colors, but the white is on the shearer side. Not a big deal – I simply wear a cami or tank underneath. But this is definitely a sweater that can carry you from Spring and Summer into Fall. Looks fantastic under a denim jacket (moto jacket would look equally as cute). This sweater is versatile and comfy! Fits TTS. If you are in the market for a lightweight white sweater – I highly recommend this one.

When I first tried on this necklace in store, I thought the tassels were a grayish-black color. But under natural lighting, it is clearly navy. If you’re not a silver person, it does come in a white tassel/gold chain combo. The tassels are attached to an adjustable bar so you can slide the tassels up or down to your liking (even stagger them if you’d like). It’s super lightweight and really adds nice vertical interest to your outfit. I’ve been wearing it for a few days and feels quality-made (those tassels are securely fastened). So pretty but with a boho kinda feel. This will be a year-round accessory for sure!

Outfit Details: Double Pearlized Tassel Pendant Necklace // Pleated Tank option (mine is dated) // My Joe’s brand jeans are also pretty dated. Comparable Joe’s Cigarette Straight Leg Jean // Comparable Nine West Flats

While the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is over, there are still some really cute items that are available. I have been loving this striped longline cardigan – and it’s under $50!

Outfit Details: Socialite Stripe Longline Cardigan (wearing XS) // Comparable Lace Trim Cami // Skinny Cropped White Jeans (wearing 25)

I love the soft hues of pink (blush), ivory and gray. It’s so pretty and extremely lightweight (perfect for Spring, Summer and as we transition toward fall). It’s an open front cardigan, with no buttons to fuss with. And it has nice deep front pocks. I’m 5’6 for reference, so you can gauge the length and where it might hit you. The Nordstrom website describes it as “chunky marled stripes” – meaning the width of the stripes. This is definitely not a chunky knit cardigan. It is a more refined, tailored cardi. It fits TTS. Next week I’ll show you the many ways you can style this lovely cardigan.

I hope you all have a great weekend ahead! Thanks for stopping by! XO ~ Michelle
