Happy Friday! Did you guys have a fun-filled Halloween? Due to the rainy weather, my community pushed back Trick or Treat to tomorrow. So… I know what we’ll be doing Saturday afternoon/evening. 🙂 Poor Riley, she doesn’t know what to make of the whole holiday. When she was a puppy, she stayed in our family room – afraid of the kids in their costumes. Nowadays, she likes to look out our bedroom window and bark at all the kids running up and down our street, going door to door. Our cat Trinny, well..she just hides and waits for the whole thing to end. lol
So let’s talk favorites. If you are in need of a fall or transitional coat, check out this wrap coat on Amazon. When I ordered it, I had a preconceived notion that the quality wouldn’t be there. Sometimes I feel with Amazon, it can be hit or miss. Do you feel that way? Maybe it’s just me. BUT in this case, I was wrong! To my pleasant surprise, it’s really nicely made. It is a medium weight. It is lined on the inside, with slant pockets and a handkerchief hemline (longer in the front).
Outfit Details: Turn Down Collar Asymmetric Hem Plaid Wrap Coat (sized up – wearing size Small)
I sized up and decided to try the Small (based on reviews). I’m glad I did. The fit was perfect. Generous enough to layer over a sweater, but still a tailored, comfortable fit. Looks nice with jeans, but I could definitely see this over a pretty black sweater dress with tall boots. Perfect coat for those in-between seasons. Truly.
You know I love a loafer and these leather loafers by Sam Edelman do not disappoint! They are very comfortable and the saddle (tan) color is gorgeous. Love the horsebit detail, which is in a gold tone. This will easily be your year-round shoe.
Also, do you see the angled line on the side of the loafer (above the heel)? The sides and back can be folded down to convert the loafer into a mule. Clever!! It also has raised padding at the heel area for added comfort.
They’re timeless, stylish and can make even your most casual outfit look polished and pulled together.
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!! XO ~ Michelle
