Hi friends! Hope you had a great weekend! We were busy putting the finishing touches on our Christmas decorating. We’ve been enjoying Christmas music on Sirius XM. It’s free through December 3rd (I think that’s the end date), so if you have the app on your phone or car, enjoy some free music! 🙂 Riley has a spaw appointment tomorrow night in preparation for Thanksgiving and a visit to my sister and family in New York.
I stopped by my local Old Navy not that long back and picked up a few things (plus ordered a couple items online) to share with you. As a reminder, I’m 5’6” and typically wear an XS (either a 0 or 2). Everything I tried on was true to size.
Old Navy does basics very well and their plush tees are no exception. They have a relaxed fit, with hi-low hemline and come in a TON of colors. And seriously, nice and soft. Perfect for lounging. And speaking of lounging, these french-terry joggers are so perfect for Fall and Winter. Normally I’m not a camo print girl, but wanted to try something different and I have to say – I love them!! So comfy and the french terry interior feels nice against the skin.
I wanted to show you how versatile these plush tees are. They can easily be dressed up or down.
I received a request for shorter length skirts, so I was excited to showcase this corduroy A-line skirt. It’s super, super limited online. 😦 If they don’t have your size, please check your local store. It is absolutely adorable. It has a high waist, nicely sized utility pockets, with a slight A-line silhouette. Love the color! How cute would that outfit look with a denim jacket!
Another item that is flying off the shelves is this houndstooth coat. It has a couple buttons down the front with slant side pockets. It is not lined, but overall very nicely made. Feels of good quality. It does run big through the body area. I think I could’ve gone down to a petite. Unfortunately it’s no longer available, online, in regular and petite sizes, only plus sizing at the moment. If you wear a 1x-4x, you are in luck!! That being said, I was at Old Navy over the weekend and my local store still had some on-hand, so if you wear a regular or petite, try your local store. Such a classic coat.
LOVE this soft-brushed crew neck sweater! The black/grey/cream stripe is sold out, but don’t let that deter you. It comes in a bunch of solid color options, plus two plaids! I’ve seen another striped option at my local Old Navy (that is not available online), as well. It’s soft, comfortable, a nice weight (not bulky or heavy) and bonus – it also comes in tall sizing! Casual or dressed up, this sweater will be a work-horse in your wardrobe.
Another item I absolutely love is this plaid tunic shirt. It comes in six different color/ pattern options and no matter which one you pick, this will be another versatile item to have in your closet. Wear it now with jeans and ankle boots. Wear it later under sweaters or cardigans. Try it with skirts or dress pants. The options are endless as the day is long.
One way I love to wear this plaid tunic shirt is under a vest. Old Navy offers puffer vests, but some times I prefer a lightweight option. This Zip Front Vest is not puffy or bulky, has the typical quilt design and is the perfect layer for added warmth and visual interest. Such a great staple piece to have in your closet.
Thanks for stopping by! See you next time! XO ~ Michelle
