Loft Try On Haul – Holiday Edition

Hey friends! Hope you all are doing well on this Wednesday. Can you believe, two weeks until Christmas?! I recently stopped by my local Loft store and wanted to share with you some cute pieces that are perfect for the holiday season. Everything fits TTS unless noted otherwise. Ring in the new year in style, dawning this adorable 2020 sweatshirt. Side note: this is also great for a 2020 graduate. 😉 The sweatshirt is done in a heathered gray and the numbers are of black sequences and beads.

I teamed the sweatshirt with black corduroy pants, which are so soft and comfortable. I love that bootcut is making a re-appearance. Although I’m wearing the black, they do come in a few other colors including a gorgeous plum. They have a mid-rise and can easily be dressed up or down.

This fairisle sweater is so lovely. It looks like the design has metallic yarn woven through for a subtle added dose of seasonal sparkle. I will say, I felt the sweater was slightly scratchy against the skin, but nothing that a cami or tank underneath couldn’t resolve.

First off, this sweater is very soft! Second, how adorable is that llama. lol. It made me smile. It’s just a fun holiday sweater and if you’re not into llamas, Loft offers a few other styles from penguins to reindeer. But seriously guys – snuggly soft.

I like Loft jeans, however I’m not a huge fan of their sustainable style jeans line. Every pair I try on feels tight, stiff and overall not comfortable to move around in at all. I do love the wash of these jeans, however.

Love both the fit and feel of this pointelle sweater. And such a pretty color! There are so many ways to wear this pullover. Wear it casually with jeans or dial up the style with a pencil skirt and heels.

I love a classic black jean. It’s an easy way to feel dressed up even for a casual holiday get together. I did feel these ran small, so I went up in size from my normal Loft size.

Refresh your everyday sweater drawer with this saturated Christmas-red scalloped sweater, which features cable knit detailing on the sleeves. So pretty! It has more of a fitted shape, so if you prefer a semi or relaxed fit, please size up. It’s such a nice option for your holiday parties.

In the second snap, I added a plaid infinity scarf. I like that this is a lightweight scarf. Sometimes you don’t always need (or want) to wear a bulky scarf. It’s made of a cotton-blend, so it will keep you warm, but not too warm!

I love a cableknit sweater, so when I saw this piece I knew I had to try it on. It is such a nice chunky, thick turtleneck sweater. Very nicely made – good quality. It has a nice length to it and features cable detailing down both the front and sleeves.

Two words describe this top – effortless dressing. What a savvy way to look layered without the fuss. Plaid tie backs and shirttail hem are attached to this lightweight sweater, so you can just slip it on, tie and go.  It’s an everyday essential that’s elevated.

This velvet knot wrap dress, in a gorgeous plum color, is perfect and fitting for the holidays and all your gatherings! It has a whooping 10% spandex, making it a comfortable yet stylish party piece. It’s an extremely flattering silhouette, no matter your size or proportions. My only criticism is that there is no snap closure to keep everything in place. This could potentially lead to a wardrobe malfunction. Yikes! If you decide on this dress, I personally would recommend taking it to your tailor and getting a closure put in. For a couple bucks, it’s worth the piece of mind of things not popping out.

For a limited time, Loft is offering free shipping, plus 40-50% off (add an extra 10% off using the code MERRY). Exclusions apply. See Loft.com for all the details. Which piece was your favorite? It’s a tough one, but that llama sweater is too darn cute! lol

Thanks for stopping by! XO ~ Michelle
