J Crew Factory Try On Session

Hi friends! I haven’t done a J. Crew Factory try on in quite some time, so I thought I’d share a quick one with you all. 🙂 If you haven’t shopped JCF, give them a try. I think you’ll like their selection. It’s a nice alternative to J. Crew, which is a bit pricier. For reference, I’m 5’6 and typically wear a size 0 at JCF. Oh, also – JCF has an online sale going on right now. Everything is 50% off! Let’s get started!

This blouse is SPOT on! It is semi-fitted with flattering V-neckline. It’s very light weight and airy- definitely a piece that can take you from desk to dinner. The spots are a deep navy (not black) against an ivory background. I’m wearing a size larger than what I normally wear because my size was not available. Stick with your regular size.

If you are a fan of vibrant colors, this pencil skirt is for you. Made from cotton, it has a touch of elastane for stretch. The scalloped hemline is such a pretty detail. It’s lined, too and has good structure. So for me, I’m personally not a fan of cotton skirts due to it easily wrinkling. But that’s me! Also, the skirt ran big on me. I had to size down to a 00.

Outfit Details: Long-sleeve V-neck top with trim detail (wearing size 2 due to my size being unavailable – go with your normal size) // Scalloped sateen pencil skirt (sized down one, wearing size 00)

Love, love, love these types of sweaters and tops – where it gives the appearance of layering. So easy to wear, from work to weekend, without any of the bulk or fuss of layering. Dress it up with dress pants or pair it with jeans for a smart casual look. I’m wearing the subtle pink with a polka dot collar. Other styles include a black knit sweater with animal print collar and a kelly green option with striped collar (scroll down to see that one on). Adorable! 😍

These boyfriend jeans are awesome! They have a hint-of-stretch fabric, are comfortable with a relaxed fit. Love the wash, too. Perfect for Spring! I like that they are not distressed. I felt they ran slightly large. I sized down one.

Outfit Details: Sweater with woven collar (wearing size XS) // Slim boyfriend jean in river blue wash (sized down, wearing size 24 – you could stick with your normal size or go down a size, depending on how you prefer your boyfriend jeans to fit).

Snakeskin continues to be a popular pattern. This blouse is perfect for work (how stylish would this be layered under a blazer) or a night out with friends. It’s super stylish and takes your look to the next level. Scroll down to see this amazing blouse paired with jeans.

Pleated skirts are trending BIG this season. JCF did a great job with this lovely one. No wonder it is listed as a best seller on their website. It sits at the waist with a midi length. What’s unique about this skirt is how the pleats go only so far down and become a full skirt. So feminine, elegant and fun.

Straight leg jeans are a nice option to add to your denim rotation. And these straight leg jeans are amazing. They are a cropped (ankle length) with a slight flare, and will look nice with so many types of shoes, from heels to flats. Typically I’m not a button fly fan, but I didn’t mind these. The buttons were easy to work. Very flattering fit and love the color wash.

Here is the kelly green sweater option that has a pin-striped collar. Love the colors and everything about it!

This textured knit pullover is fabricated from cotton, making it both soft and breathable. It has a semi-fitted shape with ribbing on the V-neckline, cuffs and hemline. Can you picture it with crisp white jeans? So pretty! The jeans are the same straight leg jeans, only cuffed. 😀
